LIAR SOCIETY Love and Launch

Katherine Longshore 6 Monday, March 07, 2011
Kate Lowry didn't think dead best friends could send e-mails. But when she gets an e-mail from Grace, she’s not so sure.

Kate is the intrepid protagonist of THE LIAR SOCIETY, a witty, fast-paced, cleverly-plotted YA mystery by sisters Lisa and Laura Roecker.  Kate is more than an outcast at exclusive Pemberly Brown Academy.  Her grief at the loss of her best friend in a tragic campus accident has made her an outcast to herself.

Until she gets an e-mail.  And the memories come flooding back.  And she enlists the help of her geeky next door neighbor.  And gets involved with a hot rebel whose cause might just be Kate.

The snappy dialogue and clever insights make this book a delight to read.  But it was the detailed description and memorable characters that drew me in and held me entranced until the end.

You can join Lisa and Laura on their blog today for their spectacular online launch party.  There are prizes to be won, but the real enticement is just being a part of this with them.  Believe me, Lisa and Laura make everything fun.

And if you comment here, you get a chance to win a copy of THE LIAR SOCIETY.

I can't wait to read the book. It's not due out until next week in Canada. Usually release dates are the same in Canada and the US, but not this time. They changed it at the last minute. Hmmm. Maybe the publishers got worried after that amazing Liar Society love fest a few weeks ago that they had to redirect the Canadian shipment back to the States. ;)

So excited for these authors. Congrats and best of luck with The Liar Society. Can't wait to read it.

Stopped by their site! Sounds like a great read.

Excited to read this book! Been following the virtual launch fun all day. LiLa is (are?) awesome!

I'm so looking forwards to getting my hands on a copy of this book! Sadly I don't think it's being published herein Australia (not to my knowledge).

I would love to be entered if this is open internationally :) Thanks!

Yes, Brodie, the contest is open internationally and you are entered!
