I loved ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS by Stephanie Perkins. It was a sweet, contemporary love story with engaging characters. (You can check out Veronica's review here) LOLA, the companion book that brings ANNA back as a minor character, is just as charming. Lola's unique fashion sense, and Project Runway talents, jump off the page to make a quirky, adorable character you can just picture walking through her San Francisco neighborhood. Check it out. I need to read this so badly, I checked it out from the library, but it is still sitting there waiting to be read. This is actually the first review that I read that describes Anna's role. Thanks for that info.
